Comments:


1) This is an experiment to see if low solidity causes a faster turbine

2) The speed of this turbine was limited by the structure drag function.  It may be possible that this is overestimating structure drag.

1) I reduced the distance from the center to the center of the scoop to make the real diameter 60"

2) Results are almost identical to the 3 bladed Lenz2.

1) This is the blade that I previously called the Tsagi_mod_20%

2) This blade was designed by Sebastian Elfers and is released for non-commercial use only.

3) Note this is a 10MPH wind.

4) At first glance you might think I've mixed up my efficientcy graphs and my power graphs, but I haven't.  At this wind speed the power in the wind is 100 watts so the graphs look very similar.
