Hi, here is company that shows the interior of their MPPT controller. It looks like they a using multiple circuits connected in parallel for higher amp output.

I am just posting so  I can compare my test results with what is available.

Hi, working on perf_board ciruit layout. Configured 50 volts caps at input to form a 1000uf at 100 volts. Not sure how well it will work. Rotary switch varies duty cycle from 10% to 50%, using 5 k potentiometer so each fixed percent value has small variable adjustment. Hopefully testing in a few days.

I wonder if they could recommend a plastic surgeon.  My nose needs a little modification.  :-)

Circuit update: currently constructing test circuit. Updated test points and added Vin discharge push button, also included on/off circuit power switch. Comments welcome.

Hi, test circuit update. This is the circuit I will be using for testing to establish duty cycle verses RPM for maximum current output to better understand MPPT algorithm requirements. I am using a fixed frequency 555 timer to drive a one shot 555 timer that uses a rotary switch to very the duty cycle. This should resolve  the problems encountered with the earlier test circuits by providing a stable frequency when varying the duty cycles. I will post results when available.
